Welcome to the Exciting Sport of Fencing!
Now that your child is enrolled in Youth Preparatory, a few things to know:
$35 is due on their first day of class for the new glove + RTF fee. We accept cash or personal checks, made out to: Out of Nowhere Fencing LLC.
You will need to fill out the student info form and sign.
*Students will need to wear comfortable/athletic type clothing and athletic shoes/sneakers. No shorts or tank-tops please. T-shirts and athletic pants and athletic shoes are preferable.
*Classes are held in Cutler Hall at the KOA, Harpers Ferry, located at 343 Campground Road.
Coach David C. Copeland will be teaching the class, which will run from 4:50pm to 5:30pm. Please park to the left of the General Store near the flag poles. Thank you for you cooperation.
*Please arrive early. We ask that you arrive at least 10 minutes early to insure class starts on time.
*Given the age group, we ask that parents stay inside the classroom for the duration of the class.
* Homework:
At the end of the first class, students will be given instructions to practice the footwork they have learned in the first session. It is important to practice the footwork for a couple of minutes each day so as to allow the muscles a chance to become adjusted to the movements which one will use in this class.
